Social Projection Committee

SPC is the reflection of thinking and quick action of enthusiastic and proactive educated youth. To work structurally, some proactive university students established the SPC in their locality as a non-political and volunteer organization at the outset of the year 2000. We work to eradicate hunger, reduce extreme poverty, and work to establish a human rights-focused society through sustainable development using and enhancing local, regional, national, and international social resources. For the organizational sustainability and to eradicate hunger and reduce extreme poverty SPC has started micro credit activities from 15th July, 2022.

Location: SPC (Social Projection Committee) is situated in Raghunathpur village under Union06 no.,Ramchandrapur of Gaibandha Sadar Upzila of Gaibandha district in northern Bangladesh. Our head office is situated beside Rawshanbag Bazar in Raghunathpur village. There are suitable conditions for communication.

Why SPC was created: To raise awareness of basic human rights and among marginalized people in our community. SPC plays an institutional role assisting those in need by reducing lack of awareness, prejudice, unemployment and domestic violence.

Our Name (Social Projection Committee): By definition, “Social Projection” is the tendency to expect similarities between the self and others as well as encourage comparisons between individuals. In this context, as we try to establish a social justice and equity-based society , we choose the name of this organization:“Social Projection Committee”.

MOTTO: “First deserve then desire.”
This is the main theme of SPC for Solidarity-Innovation-Consumption-Empowerment.
